The topics reviewed are safety (medication, physical, emotional, environmental) in the care of patients across the lifespan, as well as safety promotion, wellness, and self-responsibility. In this course, critical thinking skills and caring behaviors needed to provide and manage care for these patients are imperative. Care plans, medication calculation, patient education, communication skills, wound care and health prevention are just a few of the topics covered.
