Frequently Asked Questions

How long will I have access to the Moodle?

Customers
are enrolled in their respective Moodle courses within 24-48 hours
after completing their course registration and will continue to have
access for up to 30 days after the course ends.

If I am not ready to take the exam after my class and Moodle are finished, can I retake the class?

Absolutely!
If you need more time to feel ready for your exam, you can sign-up for
the course again through your student portal. We also have a team of
advisors ready to help you. To discuss your options, call us at 888 600
3640 and ask to speak to your dedicated advisor.

How do I submit my assignments to my instructor?

Assignments are submitted directly to your instructors through Moodle.

Moodle
will grade and provide feedback immediately on all your additional
activities except for essays, speeches, and care plans. Those are
uploaded or written directly in the assignment module and then sent to
your instructor for review. Remember, Moodle gives you performance
grades as an indicator of how well you are doing; these grades are not
official. Achieve does not monitor these grades or report grades to any
institution.

When should I register for my exam?

You
should register for your exam as soon as you start your course, and no
later than halfway through your course to ensure that you get an exam
date within 30 days after your last session, as exam dates book out
fast.

Additionally, by completing your Moodle
and attending your sessions, you qualify for our CLEP vouchers, which
cover up to $150 of the exam cost. The sooner you take the exam, the
better. For more information, reach out to your dedicated advisor or
call us at 888 600 3640.

What score do I need to pass an exam?

It
varies per exam, but most CLEP exams require you to earn a 50 or higher
& DSST exams require a 400 or higher. This, of course, could also
vary by your college’s requirements. For an exact answer, review the
exam content guide (located in your Moodle course), and contact your
dedicated advisor for specific exam requirements.

How can I get an extension on my Moodle?

You
can request a Moodle extension by submitting a support request on your
Prep Portal. After that, a member of our Moodle team will enroll you in
the Review Moodle course (a direct replica of your actual course) and
notify you of your new enrollment via email.

Is there a charge if I retake a class?

No. If you need to retake a course for better mastery, there is no charge to do so.

How can I access my A&P 1 Moodle while I am working on my A&P 2 Moodle?

You
can only access your Spanish 1 Moodle for 30 days after the course
ends. After this date, you can access the same materials and resources
by enrolling in the Spanish Review Moodle course. To do this, call
1-888-900-8380 and ask to speak to an advisor.

How should I register for my exam?

Each exam has a different registration process. You will find detailed
guides on registering for your CLEP exams within your Achieve Student
Resources section in Moodle.

To register for the TEAS exam, visit www.atitesting.com.

And to register for your DSST exams, please visit http://getcollegecredit.com to find a testing center near you. Then, contact the center to get instructions.

We are more than happy to walk you through the process. Give us a call at 888 600 3640.

What happens if I do not pass my exam?

If
you fail, you must submit your exam results to Achieve by uploading
them through the student portal or emailing them directly to customersuccess@achievetestprep.com. An Academic Advisor will contact you to set up an appointment with our advisors, who will help you retake your exam.
